The successful candidate will join the Legal & Compliance department in SIA Corporate Planning Division. He/She will undertake regulatory
compliance work for Kris+, as well as support M&A and Commercial projects, to
promote revenue and growth for the SIA Group.
(a) regulatory compliance work, particularly in respect of anti-money laundering / countering of financial terrorism and any applicable regulations under the Payment Services Act of Singapore, including the following:
(i) promoting compliance with, and advising and training employees on, internal compliance policies, procedures and controls;
(ii) carrying out ongoing monitoring of business relations and transactions; and
(iii) conducting compliance reviews and relevant internal investigations; and
(b) supporting M&A and commercial projects.
The candidate should have:
(a) a law degree from a reputable university in
Singapore or a Commonwealth state,
(b) at least three (3) years of legal experience
and/or Anti-Money Laundering/Countering of Financial Terrorism compliance
(i) in a reputable law firm or
(ii) in-house at a company holding or applying for
a licence under the Payment Services Act of Singapore, and
(c) excellent risk and compliance analytical
skills, as well as contract drafting skills.
Experience in the following areas is an
- personal data protection regulations;
- anti-fraud controls;
- sanctions compliance; and/or
- high value transactional work, e.g. mergers and acquisitions.
Admission to the Singapore Bar is not required.
The candidate should be able to:
(a) work independently and as a team player, and
(b) communicate with people effectively in a dynamic environment
in Singapore Airlines Limited and its unlisted subsidiaries.
The successful candidate should have a positive attitude to learn with an enthusiasm to excel.
