HR Executive (Policies & Compliance)

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Safe Management Office in SIA Human Resources Division. He/She is responsible for ensuring that the organisation adheres to workplace safe management measures and that employees are well informed on safe management policies, protocols and compliance. He/She will work with various departments to ensure effective implementation of work arrangement initiatives focusing on improving productivity and employee experience while evaluating the efficiency of initiatives and revising policies and procedures as requirements evolve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operationalise initiatives to support Safe Management Measure and prevent violations of regulatory guidelines and internal policies

• Evaluate the efficiency of initiatives, controls and improve them continuously

• Revise procedures, reports to identify potentials of risks, work out preventive and mitigating actions

• Keep abreast of regulatory developments and advisories within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control

• Collaborate with divisional leads and enforcement officers to monitor safe management measures, identify compliance issues and respond promptly to issues and incidents

• Partner IT Division and Properties to ensure effective implementation and deployment of facilities, equipment and tools in support of a hybrid work model

• Ensure change management and adoption of Work Arrangements via company’s communication channels

• Develop documentation control processes to ensure relevant records are retained

• Provide regular reports to management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate

Requirements

• Degree in any discipline

• Experience in project management and operations will be an advantage

• Some training data analytics will be preferred

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities

• An analytical mind; able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations

• Able to work independently
