HR Associate Workforce Administration

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the 1HR Service Centre in SIA Human Resources Division. He/She will provide support to 1HR Service Centre daily operations and key projects.

Key Responsibilities include:

(1) Workforce administration

- Manage and ensure operational efficiency, accuracy and timeliness in handling workforce admin matters including but not limited to bulk payments (e.g. bonuses, annual wage supplement), contract renewals, promotions, appointments, staff departures/clearances, leave quota and adjustment

- Keep abreast of local regulations & company policies and ensure compliance in administration of workforce matters

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of HR system enhancements due new or policy/process changes

- Liaise with Finance (Payrolls) and BUs on workforce administration matters

(2) Work Pass administration

- Keep abreast of developments to work pass matters

- Advise Business Units (BUs) of their staff’s work pass matters

- Monitor and track work pass renewals for staff and their dependents

(3) Uniform administration

- Manage staff queries on uniform matters, e.g. uniform requisition (UR) submission, entitlement issues

- Review requests for new uniforms uniform changes

- Raise manual UR where required

- Manage uniform application including user acceptance testing, review of user feedback

- Liaise with Procurement and uniform store

(4) One-stop service for staff

- Manage queries/requests from department heads and staff

- Extract and conduct analysis of statistics/data as required by management and BUs

(5) Key projects

- Transition to new HR platform

- Transition to 1HR service centre setup

Requirements

• Diploma in Human Resources or related field

• Experience in HR shared services / service centre operations preferred

• Analytical, meticulous, detail-oriented with strong numerical competency

• Able to work independently and in a high-stress environment with tight timelines and shifting priorities

• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to manage difficult stakeholders and business users

• Good written skills with ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively

• Familiarity with local labour legislation/TAFEP and knowledge of SAP HR module would be an advantage
