Engineering - Technical Services Engineer (Quality)

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Quality department in SIA Engineering Division. He/She will support the Quality section, to ensure SIA Fleet meet the applicable airworthiness requirements and approved procedures.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Participate in the development and review of policies associated with airworthiness and safety related processes.

• Perform quality functions in accordance with set policies

• Develop, Oversee and Perform ISO 9001 Quality Management System audits.

• Formulate and review policies pertaining to the Control of Airworthiness Directives (AD) for SQ aircraft.

• Compile data and generating reports relating to fleet operations and reliability studies.

Conduct and Provide support to internal and external audits on aviation engineering activities.

• Perform such other duties as assigned to him by Vice President Quality / Senior Manager Quality.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering

 • Be able to work independently and also a good team member. Since the job requires interaction with various user departments, good interpersonal skills will be necessary.

• Be able to analyze, diagnose a problem and provide an effective solution

• Familiar with Air Navigation Regulations, ISO standards and framework is an added advantage

• Meticulous, objective and resourceful

• Effective communications and writing skills.

• Conversant with standard IT applications such as M/S Office, SAP, etc.
