Assistant Manager Corporate HR Admin

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Corporate HR Admin department in SIA’s Human Resources division. He/she will be responsible for projects, KPIs and Managers’ workforce administration which includes payroll and compensation planning process.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Process

  • Oversee and ensure operational efficiency, accuracy and timeliness in managing workforce admin matters for managerial grade and above, including payroll vendor management
  • Effectively manage queries/requests for Senior Vice President Human Resources (SVPHR) office

2. System

  • Review processes with cycle time improvements to improve productivity and staff experience
  • Support new HR system rollout and enhancements due to new or policy/process changes
  • Support development of to-be processes and complete system integration testing for modules related to Managers Workforce Administration to enhance employee experience

3. Communication

  • Draft and cascade Divisional communications from SVPHR office

4. Secretary

  • Preparation of Board meeting materials and briefing notes
  • Secretariat to HR Managers weekly meeting
  • Coordinate Divisional master calendar and workflow

5. KPIs

  • Planning and tracking KPIs for HR Divisional annual scorecard

6. Tracking

  • Monitoring and following up on action items arising from HR meetings and divisional KPIs


  • Degree holder, preferably in HR or Business
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in HR or related filed
  • Familiar with local labour legislations
  • Analytical, meticulous, detail-oriented with strong numerical competency
  • Ability to ensure confidentiality and integrity of data
  • Able to work independently with ability to manage workload with shifting priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain good relationships with stakeholders and business units
  • Strong team player to engage and align objectives with stakeholders and business units
  • Good written and spoken communication with ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively
  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors would be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Advanced Excel skills is required.
