Fleet Management Executive (Component Engineering & Repair Evaluation)

Purpose

Component Engineering & Repair Evaluation Executive plays an integral role in Fleet Management Division, working in the Asset Management / Component Engineering department. This position works closely with vendors to ensure that quotations are in accordance to manufacturer requirements, as well as working with internal and external stakeholders to identify trends and issues.


Responsibilities

  • Review repair quotes on adequacy of work scope quoted in accordance to manufacturer requirements and for possibility of replacement options as alternatives to repair
  • Follow up with repair vendors to dispute work scope quoted where deemed as not justified
  • Review and coordinate warranty claims for components removed from Airbus and Boeing fleet supported under the SIAEC Inventory Technical Management (ITM) / Fleet Technical Management (FTM) programme
  • Collate vendor performance and removal data to identify possible claims against OEM under Product Support and Assurance Agreement (PSAA) / Supplier Support Conditions (SSC) obligations
  • Coordinates among relevant internal/external stakeholders to review removal data from ITM customers for the identification of on-wing performance trends, in order to sieve out potential reliability issues. Follow up with OEMs through internal stakeholders to identify possible remedies to rectify reliability problems and hence improving on-wing performance of parts
  • Analyse removal data to identify potential rogue units
  • Work with customer support counterpart to follow up on PSAA/SSC delegation from new customers

Requirements

  • Singapore citizen
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering and/or technical services in the aviation industry would be preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management would be advantageous
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and Visual Basic would be advantageous
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills 

 

Selected candidates may be considered for Assistant Manager or Executive depending on experience and qualifications
