Assistant Manager HR Project Management Office (PMO)

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Human Resources team, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. This role is responsible for managing project plans, timelines and overall summary plan across corporate divisions. Responsible for preparing and facilitating regular project update meetings that require coordination, actively manage and measure progress of projects. This role will also provide project leadership and help drive implementation of key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Supports the SVP of Human Resources to drive both strategic and operational corporate projects and programs in support of the business. That includes planning, coordination with key internal and external stakeholders

• Acts as the primary interface between the SVP of Human Resources, Corporate and Human Resources Division, key stakeholders as well as external vendors/consultants, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and effectiveness in execution

• Managing all assigned project plans and ensuring key milestones are identified and communicated to key stakeholders promptly

• Monitors and drives high quality communications for both internal and external audiences (e.g. project progress reports and presentations, extraction of data)

• Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies and manages project risks; escalates as needed for resolution

• Hosts and runs regular meetings with internal and external vendors/consultants on assigned projects

• Acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all internal and external inquiries and status of all key projects and programs

• Provides support in relevant projects integration activities across corporate division

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A good bachelor’s degree with proven project portfolio track record for successful strategy execution

• Strong analytical skills

• Thinks broadly and strategically about issues and yet manages detail

• Prioritizes constantly, multitasks and solve problems swiftly

• Adapts with a high degree of flexibility regarding changing circumstances

• Able to lead programs/initiatives as required and drive multiple projects effectively through delegation and influence

• Resilient to working under time and management pressure

• Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholders’ management skills
